Vermont’s list of lighthouses is pretty small, since the only lighthouses in the state are on Lake Champlain. I will start at the southernmost lighthouse and work my way north up the lake. My source for this list is lighthouseFriends.com.
Ohio has a fairly decent list of lighthouses, considering the fact that its only coastline is along the southwestern side of Lake Erie. I will start with the easternmost corner of the state and work my way westward along the shore of Lake Erie. My primary source for this list is Great Lakes Lighthouses: American & Canadian [GLL], by Wes Oleszewski; however, I have also made extensive use of Pinpoint Guide to Eastern Great Lakes Lighthouse [PG], and LighthouseFriends.com [LF].
I don’t normally use other lighthouse blogs or websources as sources for my lighthouse lists, but I’ve made an exception for this site. It’s an EXcellent source, with a really nice setup. I would highly recommend you check it out.
Nicely organized into sections by lake and country, with a map for each section with the lighthouses and their location indicated by a number that corresponds to the entry for that lighthouse.

My primary source for this list is Lighthouses of Ireland, by Kevin M. McCarthy. I will start at Dublin, as they do in the book, and make my way southward along the coast, circling the island.
Contains a series of beautiful paintings of the lighthouses featured, done by William L. Trotter and a few pages of the history of each lighthouse.
Not a comprehensive book, by any means, but there is a map and a comprehensive list of the navigational aids under the Commissionaries of Irish Lights near the front of the book. This map and list are the main source for my list of Irish lighthouses, at least for the time being.

I will supplement with other sources as necessary, indicating when I have done so, in order to compile the most inclusive list possible. I will start with the lighthouses on the easternmost point of the lake, where Lake Michigan joins Lake Huron, and make my way westward along the lake. At Duluth, Minnesota we will come around the bend and start working our way eastward up the other side of the lake, eventually crossing over into Canada. Lighthouses with links are ones that I have visited and have made a page about.
