Stuffing

Ingredients

  • 6 c. bread croutons
  • 1 large onion, chopped
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 1 c. chopped celery
  • 1/2 t. minced garlic
  • 2 T. butter
  • 1 1/2 T. poultry seasoning
  • 1 1/2 T. minced dried onion
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 c. vegetable broth

Directions

  • Make bread croutons by cubing the bread and then drying it in the oven at XX degrees for 10 min. (this can be done well in advance)
  • Cook the onions in olive oil until well cooked. Add the celery and cook until softened. Add the garlic and butter and cook until butter is melted.
  • Mix the croutons, onion/celery mixture, seasoning (poultry seasoning, dried onion, salt and pepper) and veggie broth together in a large bowl.
  • Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 min.
