Stuffing
Ingredients
- 6 c. bread croutons
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 T. olive oil
- 1 c. chopped celery
- 1/2 t. minced garlic
- 2 T. butter
- 1 1/2 T. poultry seasoning
- 1 1/2 T. minced dried onion
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 c. vegetable broth
Directions
- Make bread croutons by cubing the bread and then drying it in the oven at XX degrees for 10 min. (this can be done well in advance)
- Cook the onions in olive oil until well cooked. Add the celery and cook until softened. Add the garlic and butter and cook until butter is melted.
- Mix the croutons, onion/celery mixture, seasoning (poultry seasoning, dried onion, salt and pepper) and veggie broth together in a large bowl.
- Pour the mixture into a casserole dish and cook uncovered at 350 degrees for 20 min.
