Irish Tea Cake
Ingredients & Directions
- Soak 3/4 lb. (2 1/4 c.) raisins and 1 T. brown sugar overnight in 1 c. strong black tea.
- Next day, add 2 well-beaten eggs and 1 c. walnuts.
- Add in 2 c. flour & 1 t. baking powder.
- Add 1/4 c. milk; mix well.
- Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
