6 T. granulated sugar

1 1/2 c. water

Combine water and sugar in a small saucepan. Cook on medium heat, stirring constantly, until sugar is completely dissolved. Cool in pan. Once the sugar mixture is cool, serve to birbs, or store in the fridge for up to a week.
