Gingerbread
Ingredients
- 1 c. molasses
- 1/2 c. melted margarine or oil
- 2 t. ginger
- 2 c. flour
- 1 t. salt
- 1 t. baking soda in 1 c. hot water
Directions
- Beat together oil and molasses.
- Beat in flour, ginger, and salt.
- Beat in soda water 1/3 c. at a time until smooth.
- Bake at 350° F in 8×8“ greased pan for 35-40 min.
