Conversion Table for White Flour

In recipes that do call for white flour, you can substitute almond flour or coconut flour instead.

Almond Flour

You have to use double the amount of almond flour.

If recipe calls for Use
1/4 cup white flour 1/2 cup almond flour
1/3 cup white flour 2/3 cup almond flour
1/2 cup white flour 1 cup almond flour
2/3 cup white flour 1 and 1/3 cups almond flour
3/4 cup white flour 1 and 1/2 cups almond flour
1 cup white flour 2 cups almond flour
1 and 1/2 cups white flour 3 cups almond flour
2 cups white flour 4 cups almond flour

Coconut Flour

With coconut flour, you use 1/4 as much as white flour, but you must add extra moisture (water, oil, butter, and/or egg) to the recipe.

If recipe calls for Use
1/4 cup of white flour 1 tablespoon coconut flour
1/2 cup white flour 2 tablespoons coconut flour
3/4 cup white flour 3 tablespoons coconut flour
1 cup white flour 1/4 cup coconut flour
1 and 1/2 cups white flour 1/4 cup + 1/8 cup coconut flour
2 cups white flour 1/2 cup coconut flour
