Choconut Cararmel Bar

Ingredients

  • 2 c. (12 oz.) chocolate chips
  • 1 pkg caramels
  • 7 T. margarine, divided
  • 2 T. water
  • 1 c. chopped peanuts

Directions

  • Melt chocolate chips w/ 2 T. margarine in double boiler.
  • Pour half into greased 8“ pan and refrigerate for 15 minutes.
  • Melt caramels w/ 5 T. margarine and water in double boiler.
  • Stir in chopped nuts.
  • Pour caramel/nut mixture over chocolate in pan. Chill for 15 minutes.
  • Top with other half of chocolate. Chill for 1 hour.
