Chocolate Crinkles
Ingredients
- 4 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. olive oil
- 2 t. vanilla
- 1/2 c. water
- 4 t. egg replacer (equivalent to 4 eggs)
- 2 c. flour
- 2 t. baking powder
- 1/2 t. salt
- 1/2 c. powdered sugar
Directions
- Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 sec.
- Mix together the sugar, oil, chocolate and vanilla in a large bowl. Add the eggs, and mix until blended.
- In a large measuring cup, combine the flour, baking powder and salt. Add to the chocolate mixture and stir until blended. Cover and refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
- Preheat the oven to 350º F.
- Roll dough into balls and coat with powdered sugar. Place balls on cookie sheets lined with parchment paper and bake for 12 min. Cool slightly on trays before removing to wire rack to cool completely.
