Butterscotch Cake

Ingredients

  • Yellow cake mix
  • Butterscotch pudding, instant (use pie directions)
  • 1 egg
  • 1 package butterscotch chips
  • dried coconut

Directions

  • Make butterscotch pudding according to pie directions
  • Add cake mix and egg to pudding and mix until blended.
  • Spread in a greased 9 x 13 in. pan.
  • Sprinkle the chips on top of the cake, and then sprinkle coconut over cake to cover.
  • Bake at 350º F for 30-35 min., until coconut is browned and cake tester comes out clean. Best served the next day.
