~~NOTOC~~ ====== Queen's Delight ====== **Corner dance** - transcriptions from [[#ann_arbor|Ann Arbor]], [[#bacon|Bacon]], [[#dommett|Dommett]], and [[#sharp|Sharp]]. There was a certain latitude in how this dance was choreographed. Ann Anbor's version is the common sequence done by many American teams. ===== Ann Arbor ===== Notes in Bacon are inconclusive. Ann Arbor says they do: * Foot up; Double-step crossing; Hey down; Double-step crossing; * Belly to belly; 1-2-up crossing; Hey down; Fast caper crossing; * Back to back; X caper crossing; Hey down; X caper crossing * Rounds to all-in * Crossings begin with side-step R, side-2-up L, except fast capers ssr, ssl; and X-capers ssr, ssl with toe-back on last count. * On last X-caper crossing, at the apex of your first X you get to yell, shriek, kvitch or holler. ===== Bacon ===== Here is how Bacon notates the dance: THE QUEEN'S DELIGHT MB V, p.88, 90 Sequence - OY;FU;DF;WH;DF;HA;DF;WH;DF;BB;DF;WH;DF;HA;DF;WH;DF.
