About Me

I'm a ABD PhD candidate in the Social, Political, Ethical and Legal Philosophy program (SPEL) at Binghamton University. I am currently working on a dissertation on “The Political Role of Conscientious Refusal.” My other philosophical interests are in civil disobedience, ethics, environmental issues, food politics, social justice, prisons and punishment, and nonviolence.

I have a M.S. in Logic, Computation and Methodology from Carnegie Mellon University. My work there was in the philosophy of language, specifically on scalar implicature in the antecedent of conditionals.
